It’s that time of year again! Get those clubs out of the garage and on the course to prepare for the Charity MRS Golf Day on Thursday, 3 September, 2002 at Chobham Golf Club.
Anyone who is reasonably proficient (with or without a handicap) will be welcome. Chobham has full facilities for lady golfers – so please enter. It promises to be another great day but numbers are limited to 40 golfers – so first come first, served. The cost is only £75. This includes your green fees, tea/coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, a hot lunch and sandwiches with the prize giving. Alternative menus are available for vegetarians and those with other food requirements. If you just fancy a walk round the countryside with lunch and tea, it is yours for £25.
As usual, the morning 18 holes is a Stableford competition, giving equal opportunity to all standards of play, played in groups of three or four. The afternoon is an 18 hole Greensomes competition; prizes include nearest the pin and longest.drive.
The beneficiary is The Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA) – the market research industry´s independent, registered charity providing financial assistance to people who work (or who have worked) in Market Research. Over the years the charity has helped hundreds of people and their families, who experienced financial hardship as a result of illness, injury, bereavement or other personal problem. Part of your green fees are automatically donated to the charity, as are the proceeds of the raffle, which is drawn on the day. If you wish to donate a prize for the raffle then bring it on the day or send it to Sample Answers: To pay your green fees or to donate money to the charity, you can either:
