MRBA was thrilled to have launched MRBA Skills last year.  This new bursary initiative is designed to help younger researchers and those new to our industry improve their skills and enhance their career prospects in the hope they will not need our help in the future.  Initially there are 20 annual bursaries available for researchers planning to take the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research.  

To make it easier and encourage more applicants, we have changed the eligibility criteria slightly:

• Anyone considering applying for an MRBA Skills bursary should FIRST email skills@mrba.org.uk. Someone from the MRBA Skills team will get back to them to discuss their circumstances and review our eligibility criteria.

• Now researchers, field workers, interns, indeed anyone working for a UK research agency/supplier with an annual turnover of less than £2million and a salary of less than £35K annually OR are working in a research team with an annual research/ insight spend less than £200K AND are earning less than £35K are NOW eligible to apply.
