Notice is hereby given that the forty-third annual general meeting of the Market Research Benevolent Association will take place on Thursday 24th September 2020 by Zoom video conference call at 3.00pm

 The business to be transacted at the meeting will be:

1)           The presentation of the Trustees’ Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31st March 2020

2)           The election of one member of the Management Committee

3)           The election of the Independent Examiner (Auditor)

4)           Any other business

 

There will be one vacancy for election to the Trustee Board.  Jennifer Roberton, currently a co-opted member has indicated her intention to stand.

Other nominations for the Management Committee are invited.  Only life governors and governors or members who have been in membership for two consecutive years or who commit to being a member for three years are eligible for election.    A person who is not already a member of the Management Committee has to be nominated in writing by at least six members of the Association (although such support need not be on a single nomination document).

Nomination forms should be received by the Secretary no later than 7th September 2019.

Notice of other items that members wish to be placed on the agenda must be received in writing by the Secretary no later than 7th September 2019.  The Secretary can be contacted at info@mrba.org.uk
