Donate an Item

You can help us by donating items to the auction.  These are examples of the most popular items that make the most money for us:

  • A stay in your holiday home or let
  • Bottles of fine wine, champagne and spirits
  • Special services like photography sessions; pamper and spa days; garden design; etc
  • Hard to get tickets to special sporting events or other performances

Donating is simple and fast.  Just email Linda Henshall  to make your pledge for the 2017 auction today!  You don’t need to send anything now. We’ll come back to you with a request for a full description and a photo later.   After the auction, we will put the successful bidder in touch with you directly so you can make any necessary arrangements between the two of you.

Examples of Some Generous Donors to Our Auction:

Ken Parker

AQR’s former Chairman, Ken Parker donated a week’s stay in his French Alps apartment to the auction for a number of years after learning more about the MRBA at a conference.

Ken, former Chairman of AQR, believes the MRBA provides a valuable service to the industry and wants to encourage others to lend their support.  “Many in our industry have something they can do to help.  It may be giving up their time; donating items to the auction; becoming a ‘Friend’; or fund-raising.  So please, think about it and give generously.”

“Participating in the MRBA auction is a good way to promote your services as well as help the MRBA,” says Sharon

For the past several years, former TNS employee turned garden designer, Sharon Perez of Downdale Garden Design has been donating an initial garden design consultation and mood board to the annual MRBA auction.   “I just finished designing and planting up for this year’s successful bidder.  It was a great collaboration.  And I got some paid work I wasn’t expecting as a result of the design and the client is really pleased with her new garden which is fantastic.”
