With the current economic climate, the number of applicants seeking our help doubled last year and that trend is continuing into 2010.  As we depend entirely on the gifts and donations from people within the industry and the return on these investments has declined because of the economic crisis, we are now in a situation where we are giving away more than we are earning.  That is why we are revitalising our membership programme and have launched a 'Become a Friend of the MRBA' campaign.

Both individuals and companies can become Friends and we encourage everyone in the industry to become a 'Friend' so we can continue to offer the same level of support as we are currently to those most in need of our support.  For the cost of less than a large cappucino a month, individuals can become Friends for just £25/year minimum.  Companies can join for £100/year minimum, or become Corporate Patrons for an annual donation of £500 or more.
